The Cookstown District offers so much so see and do with great activities for all the family!  The District extends from the shores of Lough Neagh to the foothills of the Sperrins with a wide and varied landscape you’re sure to find something to do while visiting the area.  Click on the links below for information on different activities in the area:

A series of walks can be enjoyed, making it possible to explore the many beautiful facets of the Cookstown District from castles and mountain tops to loughs, rivers and forests.

Unspoilt landscape, winding rivers, natural forests and scenic lakes all translate into a region recognised as one of the most idyllic  geographical areas of Northern Ireland.  Discover this unique landscape as you cycle through Cookstown and the Sperrins.

The Cookstown District is the ideal place for fishing, with many prime locations  throughout the District.  The Ballinderry River flows east through Cookstown into Lough Neagh.  The river is regarded by anglers as one of the best trout rivers in Ulster as well as being good for Salmon and Dollaghan.

Enjoy a round of golf in the spectacular County Tyrone countryside.  The courses are suited to all ages and abilities and visitors will be made most welcome.

Step on board the Maid of Antrim, a purpose built pleasure cruiser licensed to carry 100 passengers. The boat has just recently been restored to its former glory and offers passengers a comprehensive commentary as well as spectacular views.
