Cookstown District Council provides a bulky household and electrical goods collection for householders within the Cookstown District. The items that may be collected are those which are too large/difficult to take to a Civic Amenity Site.
From 1st April 2011 one free collection will be available to each household per calendar year, for each subsequent collection there will be a charge of £10 which must be paid prior to the collection being made. Payment can be made in person at the Council Offices, by telephone, by cheque via post or on-line.

Please note all items must be left outside for collection. Council staff are not permitted to enter premises to collect such items. Requests can be made via telephone or by using the online form below which should be e-mailed to opservices@cookstown.gov.uk.
Unfortunately the Council can NOT collect:
Bathroom suites Bags of rubbish
Cardboard boxes Radiators
Uncovered mattresses Kitchen units
Flooring Tiling
Wood Doors - external or internal
