Cookstown District Council’s Community Services section oversees the Community Safety, Good Relations, Community Festivals, Community/Voluntary and Local Community Fund Programmes and Community Planning.
The section is also the lead actor in a £20.5 million Rural Development Programme delivered through South West Action for Rural Development (SWARD). Peace III projects on behalf of the South West Peace III cluster are managed through this unit for the Cookstown District Council area.
