Building Control
The core activity of the building control department is the application and enforcement of the building regulations. The department also has responsibility for several other important functions including licensing of places of entertainment, petroleum-spirit licensing, cinema licensing, postal naming and numbering, property certificates, energy management and dangerous structures adjacent to the public road or footpath.
